The second delegation trip to New York City took place in April as part of our internationalisation project. The delegation was made up of the twelve fashion brands and tech start-ups AVENIR, DR. BAUM, HADERLUMP, IMPARI, Kasia Kucharska, Natascha von Hirschhausen, PLATTE Berlin, REFRAMD, RICHERT BEIL, SANE Standard, SF1OG and SOCIÉTÉ ANGELIQUE. They receive a week-long programme specially tailored to their needs, which was designed to familiarise them with the special features of the US market and included sales and communication workshops as well as strategic market entry recommendations. They were also brought together with local stakeholders, press representatives and industry experts, enabling them to make international contacts.

The five-day programme offered unique experiences and valuable insights into the US market and included various networking events such as an FCG Fireside Dinner, meetings with industry leaders like the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) or Highsnobiety, guided tours of the famous Garment District and sales pitch training followed by a presentation to potential investors.
